I was cordially invited to participate in a fashion shoot with JiggyBoyz (Twan P. and Lavaar Rogers) who happens to be my family.

This drippy duo has always been known for their selective styles and cool combos, so you guys can ONLY imagine how hype I was to get that call! I knew if I was going to be featured with them -especially in a photoshoot- then I had to BRING IT!

The idea of my outfit came from straight brainstorming. I thought about how the two of them put pieces together and their overall styles in general. I decided to go with a vintage punk rock look. You know...like an 80's feel. I've been dying to wear my overall skirt before it got too hot with some bomb low cut kicks, and this was the perfect moment!

I instantly knew that I wanted to pair it with a flannel. If you've read my trends, then you know how much I love flannels. But anyway, I knew the flannel/skirt combo would be too plain especially for my style due to the dark and similar colors. I wanted the white socks to play as a color blocker from the rest of the outfit, and they also brought out the white in my shirt more. I threw the fishnets in to bring on an edgy vibe and finished the fit with some hoops and my wide frames. I think I made the right decision!
