Striped Jacket!

With this Raytio, I had to take it wayyy back! The correlation is a very stylish and retro jacket! I used it to layer my tops in each picture. I took both of these pictures on March 10 during a photo shoot. Here are the two MAIN styles of RayLachae...

The Quotients:

The first picture shows my favorite style, and that's the chill look! I associate this with "tomboy." I know most people may hear the word tomboy and automatically think "baggy jeans and big shirts," BUT that's not always the case! My idea of tomboy is anything cute and comfy with sneakers, chucks, or vans. Lol. I know that's very broad, but it's the honest truth! For this shoot, I decided to do a common look: a mini skirt with sneakers. But, of course, I added my twist to it. I wanted to mix textures and patterns - another thing I love to do! So, I paired the skirt and sneakers with a sheer lace top I found at Goodwill that has floral crochet details. Under the top, I wore a colorful vertical striped bandeau, which is a totally different pattern than the shirt. The shirt was then layered with the retro style stripe jacket I also found at Goodwill! The stripes on the jacket are horizontal, which adds the icing to the mixing prints and patterns cake! Y'all know I'm extra, so that's why I threw the glasses on. LOL. But, this outfit is the epitome of RayLachae fashion! It's not your average look, and it's a style that some may be afraid to try!

The second picture shows a side of me I'm just starting to get more into due to my age. It's definitely something that was coming with time, and I'm actually enjoying it! Of course, the retro style jacket was featured! This time I layered a sleeveless lace up top. If you've read any of my other posts, then you know I used to work at PacSun. The top is from the Kendall and Kylie Collection. This was actually my very first time wearing it. For my bottoms, I wore pants that I got from Goodwill years ago that were turned into shorts. They're distressed at the hem from being cut, and that's my absolute favorite! I styled this outfit with my favorite pair of shoes I bought for the winter: SUEDE THIGH HIGH BOOTS! I purchased these from my current job, Southern Fried Chics (stay tuned for a feature on that!) As soon as they came in, my coworkers said "Ray, these have your name written on them." And, I couldn't have agreed more! I loveee suede, i loveee floral prints, and i loveee thigh high boots, so these were a MUST! I felt as if they were just what this outfit needed! They brought all the sass, and never forget, your shoes can be the accessory that takes your fit to another level!
