She is a 26-year-old broadcaster, stylist, and a fashion blogger...BUT she's not your "typical" blogger.

She also works as the Vice President and Brand Ambassador of SOLO Magazine, a platform for up and coming entrepreneurs, and she works at an internationally known clothing boutique, Southern Fried Chics, located in Rock Hill, South Carolina! She has hopes and dreams of becoming a businesswoman by launching her very own clothing line, which will feature versatile product for all ages.

RayLachae, Rayesha Lachae Brantley, first found her 'passion for fashion' in 2009-2010. While she always wanted to follow the latest styles and trends, she later realized that it's not what you wear, but HOW you wear it and make it your own. This is how she found her "swag."

RayLachae majored in Mass Communications with a track in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Writing and Language. She graduated from Francis Marion University in the spring of 2015. During her education journey, she found that special spark in a class titled Broadcast Reporting and Writing. In this class, RayLachae learned how to operate and use professional media equipment.

With this knowledge and her love for fashion, styles, and trends, she decided to launch her site, www.raylachae.com!

Chapter 1:

The Southern Fried Way

It's crazy how things happen, the way they happen, and how they can effect your life in major ways! After one year of moving to the Rock Hill/Charlotte area, I was blessed with the opportunity of working for a well-known online clothing boutique, Southern Fried Chics. My start day was June 5th, 2017, and listen, excited was an understatement! My birthday was in five days, and I finally had the career of my dreams!

The past year has been full of ups and downs, sweat and tears, and constant learning. From doing flat lays for hours at a time, gaining knowledge on editing photos, and making things live on our website, it's been one life-changing experience for me. I've grown mentally, physically, emotionally, and most importantly, spiritually.

It's only been a year, but SFC has definitely made its permanent mark on me and my life. I style, write, or do both every day, which are two of my favorite things! Do I look forward to many more years of growing, learning, and shining brightly with this company? Without a doubt! This first year has been one of the longest roller coasters I have ever rode, but I wouldn't change a thing about it!
